The remaining parts connect that identity layer to capability descriptions, agent discovery, peer-to-peer or group interaction and external tool calls. Requesting and service agents are expected to authenticate each other before interaction, with authorization and access control tied to credentials and authentication results.

The practical ambition is to reduce the custom integration work required when agents from different vendors need to discover one another, exchange messages and invoke tools while retaining traceable identities.
