China Promotes AI Innovation and Deployment

Chinese Premier Li Qiang on Wednesday called for a comprehensive push in technological innovation, industrial growth and application of artificial intelligence while presiding over a State Council group study session. He urged breakthroughs across the entire AI chain, large-scale commercial deployment, coordinated data and computing resources, expanded international exchange, and strengthened governance with laws, standards and ethical guidelines, plus talent development.
