China Premier Calls For Stronger UK Cooperation

Chinese Premier Li Qiang on Thursday called for strengthening economic and trade cooperation with the United Kingdom while speaking at the UK-China Business Council closing ceremony in Beijing, attended by visiting Prime Minister Keir Starmer. Li highlighted opportunities in services, AI, clean energy, biomedicine and high-end manufacturing, citing 2025 goods trade of $103.7 billion and nearly $68 billion investment stock.
