China Opens Major Scientific Projects To Global Researchers

China unveiled on Wednesday at the Zhongguancun Forum an action plan to open 10 major scientific projects and facilities to international researchers, including deep-space monitoring systems, particle observatories and fusion devices. Vice-Premier Ding Xuexiang framed the move as building a "global technology community" and urged cooperation on regulatory, ethical and governance issues; officials said the plan aims to shape global AI norms and expand model and research access.
