China Envoy Urges US to Expand Youth Exchanges

China's ambassador to the United States, Xie Feng, urged Washington on Saturday to implement the Xi-Trump consensus by expanding youth exchanges during the 2026 China-US Youth Spring Festival Gala at the Chinese embassy. He highlighted the "50,000 in Five Years" initiative — noting over 40,000 Americans have participated — and called for collaboration in education, AI, the digital economy and green development.
