Chief Justice Advances Pakistan Justice Sector Reforms

ISLAMABAD, Feb 03 — The Chief Justice of Pakistan met with leaders of the Pakistan Bar Council, provincial bars, and the Supreme Court Bar Association to discuss justice-sector reforms and access-to-justice initiatives. He outlined National Judicial Committee decisions — a Commercial Litigation Corridor, Model Civil and Criminal Trial Courts, a Double‑Docket Regime, and AI ethical guidelines — and announced projects (solarized courts, e‑libraries, women facilitation centres) targeted for completion by August 2026.
