AMD Reports Xbox Project Targeting 2027 Launch

AMD CEO Lisa Su said on the company's latest earnings call that Microsoft's next-generation Xbox, built on a semi-custom AMD system-on-chip, is progressing to support a 2027 launch, while Valve's AMD-powered Steam Machine will begin shipping in early 2024. Su's remarks follow a mid-2025 Microsoft-AMD co-engineering partnership and leaked FTC documents that earlier showed a 2028 target.
