Alphabet Expands India Offices To Boost Hiring

Alphabet plans to expand its India presence, leasing one office tower and taking options on two more at Alembic City in East Bengaluru, Bloomberg reported. The three towers total about 2.4 million square feet and could create at least 20,000 jobs for India—adding to the company's nearly 14,000 local employees—after a push prompted by tightened US H-1B visa rules and proposed hefty fees.
