Amazon Brings Alexa+ Generative AI To Fire TV
Amazon is rolling out Alexa+, a generative-AI version of Alexa, to Fire TV devices in the U.S.; the service costs $20 per month but is free for Prime members. Alexa+ provides on-screen, natural-language content discovery across services such as Netflix, Prime Video and Disney+, real-time scene and cast queries, timestamp jumping, and enhanced smart-home automations including Ring live feeds and thermostat control via voice.
