Amazon Adds Three Personality Styles to Alexa

Amazon introduced three new personality styles for its Alexa+ artificial assistant—Brief, Chill, and Sweet—available now to all Alexa+ customers via the Alexa app or the voice command “Alexa, change your personality style.” The company says it defined the voices using five metrics (expressiveness, emotional openness, formality, directness, humor) and may add further combinations; users can revert to the classic Alexa voice.
