Amazon Achieves 40 Percent Pentesting Efficiency

Amazon's chief information security officer CJ Moses said at the RSA Conference on April 1, 2026 that using AI tools to pentest products before and after launch has produced more than a 40% efficiency gain in human and operating costs. He said AI enables continuous post-release testing and automated vulnerability identification while leaving final exploitation and risk decisions to humans, and urged tighter agentic identity and access controls.
