Agriculture Minister Launches Bharat-VISTAAR For Farmers

Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Feb. 17 in Jaipur defended the recently finalised India–US trade deal, saying it protects farmers while permitting selective imports of pulses, apples and cotton and reaffirming MSP at 50% above cost. He also launched Bharat-VISTAAR, an AI-based multi-layered digital platform designed to provide end-to-end support to the agricultural community.
