Accenture Acquires Ookla Platforms For $1.2B

Accenture announced on Tuesday that it has agreed to acquire Ookla-owned platforms Downdetector and Speedtest from Ziff Davis for $1.2 billion. Accenture CEO Julie Sweet said the firm will use Ookla’s network-performance products to capture data that helps clients across business and government scale AI safely, pending regulatory approval. Accenture says it will continue operating Ookla’s business as is.
