Yale Engineering Awards $1M To Ten Innovations

Yale Engineering’s Roberts Innovation Fund is investing $1 million in its 2026 award cycle to accelerate 10 faculty-led inventions across artificial intelligence, biomedical engineering, sustainable systems, and advanced materials. The deployment pairs $500,000 from the Fund with a $500,000 match from Yale Engineering and includes mentorship plus more than $1.8 million in cloud credits from Amazon, Google, and Microsoft. Awardees include NeuroLeaf, a leaf-thin neuromodulation platform targeting seizures.
