Woolworths Integrates Google Agents Into Olive

Australian supermarket Woolworths announced a partnership with Google to add agentic AI from Google Gemini into its Olive chatbot, rolling out in Australia later this year. The upgraded Olive will plan meals, interpret handwritten recipes, apply loyalty discounts and populate shopping baskets for customer approval, shifting decision-making toward the system and raising privacy and nudging concerns.
