Vivek Oberoi Files Suit Over Identity Misuse

Actor and entrepreneur Vivek Oberoi has approached the Delhi High Court, filing a civil suit to protect his personality and publicity rights against alleged fake social accounts, unauthorised merchandise and AI-generated deepfakes. The petition names entities including Collector Bazar, ZoomMantra and Indiancontent, seeks a permanent injunction and omnibus 'John Doe' relief to curb unknown infringers. Oberoi says these actions have harmed his reputation and commercial interests.
