UPS Plans 30,000 Job Cuts And Closures

United Parcel Service reported on Jan. 27-28 that it plans to cut as many as 30,000 jobs and close 24 facilities in 2026 while Bernstein raised its price target to $128 after a strong Q4 2025. The company said the moves reduce exposure to lower-margin Amazon deliveries and follow 48,000 role eliminations and 93 location closures in 2025. UPS expects 2026 reductions mainly via attrition and voluntary buyouts, not layoffs.
