Ubisoft Announces Major Reset Cancelling Titles

Ubisoft announced in a press release that it cancelled six games and delayed seven, including Prince of Persia: Sands of Time Remake and an unannounced Assassin's Creed Black Flag Remake. The publisher said it is reorganizing into five "creative houses", will develop four new IPs, prioritize Open World Adventure and GaaS-native experiences, and accelerate player-facing generative AI investments while rightsizing several studios.
