In the first half of March 2026, the timeline collector recorded 95 cyberattack events (6.34 events/day), finding malware accounted for 47%, ahead of account takeovers (16%) and ransomware (8%). Cybercrime remained the dominant motivation at 63% while phishing was the top initial access vector at 14%; information-and-communication entities were the most-targeted sector (16%).
