Threads Enables Global Ads For All Users

Threads, the Instagram-built microblogging platform owned by Meta, will start showing ads to all users globally next week, expanding from an earlier US and Japan rollout. The company said ads will be powered by Meta’s AI ad system, offer image, video and carousel formats, and roll out gradually across its roughly 400 million monthly active users. Advertisers can extend Facebook and Instagram campaigns to Threads.
