Tesla Sells $430 Million Megapacks To xAI

Tesla sold $430 million worth of Megapacks to Elon Musk's AI startup xAI in 2025, the company disclosed in a filing Thursday. The sales comprised about 3.4% of Tesla's energy revenue as that division rose 27% to $12.8 billion, while Tesla also disclosed a $2 billion investment in xAI amid xAI's $20 billion funding round and scrutiny over turbine emissions.
