Tencent Launches AI-Driven Social Yuanbao Pai

Tencent Holdings Ltd said on Monday its chairman Pony Ma announced a new AI-driven social feature called "Yuanbao Pai" on the Yuanbao app, launching alongside a 1 billion yuan Lunar New Year red-envelope campaign. The feature embeds AI agents into user groups for co-watching and shared activities to deepen engagement. The move intensifies competition with Baidu and Alibaba's recent AI reward and integration initiatives.
