Teamworks Acquires Sportlogiq To Expand Hockey Analytics

Last week Teamworks acquired Montréal-based Sportlogiq, an AI-powered player tracking and computer-vision analytics platform used by 97 percent of NHL teams and more than 220 clients worldwide. The deal brings Sportlogiq’s 80 employees, including 10 AI researchers, and its event-data pipelines into Teamworks’ Intelligence models to integrate video, predictive analytics, and operational tools for scouting and player development.
