T-Mobile Hires Chief To Boost Public-Safety Connectivity

Brian Gould, a former New York police and fire chief who led rescue operations during the December 2022 Buffalo blizzard, now works at T-Mobile focused on public-safety connectivity. He joins nearly 50 retired emergency responders advising on technologies such as T-Priority, T-Satellite (supported by more than 650 satellites), AI-driven Self-Organizing Network, plus SatCOWs, SatCOLTs and drones. The role aims to ensure first-responder connectivity during disasters, shown during January 2026's storm Fern.
