Swiggy Integrates Model Context Protocol For Commerce
Swiggy on Jan. 28, 2026 rolled out Model Context Protocol (MCP) integration across Swiggy Food, Instamart and Dineout, enabling conversational AI to search restaurants, browse menus, add items to carts and complete orders without using the app. Instamart is the first quick‑commerce service globally to adopt MCP, exposing over 40,000 products and allowing LLMs to securely execute end‑to‑end transactions, supporting agentic AI features like personalised meal planning.
