South Korean President Visits Japan For Talks

South Korean President Lee Jae-myung will visit Japan for a two-day, one-night trip starting Jan. 13, the presidential office announced Jan. 9. He will meet Prime Minister Takaichi Sanae in Nara for closed-door and expanded talks addressing historical issues such as the Chosei coal mine remains and discussing cooperation on intellectual property, artificial intelligence, transnational crime, and people-to-people exchanges.
