The National Assembly on Tuesday passed revisions to a Framework Act on AI, the science ministry said. The law, effective Jan. 22, establishes AI research centers, prioritizes AI products for public-sector contracts, supports new AI businesses, and mandates user-feedback and financial support for disabled and elderly users. The ministry said it will be the first such bill in the world to take effect.
