South Korea Launches AI Alliance With Singapore

Singapore and South Korea on March 2, 2026, launched a Korea-Singapore AI alliance, with President Lee Jae Myung pledging a US$300 million global fund to be established in Singapore by 2030 to support joint AI development. Leaders signed seven MOUs covering joint research and business cooperation in areas such as autonomous driving and public safety, while Singapore committed over S$1 billion for AI R&D between 2025 and 2030.
