South Korea's ICT exports more than doubled in February 2026 to $33.6 billion from $16.5 billion a year earlier, the Ministry of Science and ICT said March 12. The surge was led by chips, which jumped 160% to $25.17 billion amid global AI data center demand, producing a $20.5 billion trade surplus and boosting shipments to the United States and China.
