Snowflake Launches AI Data Cloud In UAE

Snowflake announced general availability of its AI Data Cloud on the AWS Middle East (UAE) Region, enabling organisations to run production-grade AI workloads locally while meeting performance, governance and data residency requirements. The UAE launch deepens Snowflake's AWS partnership—after exceeding $2 billion in AWS Marketplace transactions—and adds catalog federation and catalog-linked integrations to simplify Iceberg-format data access and governance.
