SK Telecom Rebuilds Infrastructure Around AI

At MWC 2026 in Barcelona, SK Telecom announced an "AI Native" strategy to rebuild its networks, IT systems, and customer interfaces around AI, including plans for hyperscale data centres and a >1 trillion-parameter LLM. CEO Jung Jai-hun said the company targets 1GW-class AI data centres, expanded GPU cloud services, and an integrated AI agent across customer touchpoints to boost Korea's AI competitiveness.
