Shaan Patel Launches Quantitative Asset Management Firm

Shaan Patel, a 22-year-old entrepreneur from Gujarat, launched Shaan Patel Asset Management, a quantitative investment platform that manages about ₹36 crore and opened a Flexi-Cap strategy on July 10 with an initial ₹25 crore. The SEBI-approved Category III AIF uses AI and data-science models developed since September 2023 to run rule-based equity strategies, and plans to expand its quantitative research and risk-management team.
