Sandstone, founded by former McKinsey consultant Nick Fleisher in August, has raised $10 million in a seed round led by Sequoia Capital to build AI tools for in-house legal teams. The Brooklyn-based startup says several dozen midsize companies are paying customers for its system of record that pulls context from email, Salesforce, and Slack to draft, review, and track contracts.
