Sam Altman Predicts Full AI Companies Emergence

OpenAI CEO Sam Altman said on Feb. 3 at Cisco’s AI Summit that AI will extend beyond software to reshape infrastructure, scientific discovery and economic growth. He described an "upper limit" in which "full AI companies" use agents that operate computers end-to-end and communicate to coordinate tasks. Altman warned that security and data-access paradigms remain the primary constraints, urging enterprises to redesign governance or face competitive disadvantage.
