Quesma Launches OTelBench To Benchmark Observability

Quesma recently launched OTelBench, an open-source benchmarking suite that measures OpenTelemetry pipeline performance and evaluates AI agents' observability automation. The tool simulates high-load OTLP traffic and reports KPIs such as throughput, latency, and resource consumption while testing agent-driven instrumentation against real-world OpenTelemetry scenarios. Initial results show many models score below 30% on production-grade tracing tasks, highlighting gaps in automated SRE workflows.
