POET Technologies announced two partnerships in mid-March 2026: on March 17 it joined Lessengers to co-develop a 1.6T 2xDR4 optical transceiver with samples due Q2 2026, and on March 16 it partnered with LITEON to co-develop compact, thermally optimized optical modules with prototypes by late 2026 and volume production targeted for 2027.
