Pinterest CEO Bill Ready rebuked staffers who created an internal tool to track company layoffs and fired those involved, according to audio obtained by CNBC at an all-hands meeting last week. The moves follow a Jan. 27 announcement to cut less than 15% of staff and redirect resources toward AI projects, with layoffs expected to finish by the end of September.
