Paul Chan Showcases Hong Kong Growth Vision

On 21 January 2026 in Davos, Hong Kong Financial Secretary Paul Chan delivered a keynote at the Davos-Caixin CEO Luncheon outlining Hong Kong’s development vision and its three growth engines: finance, trade, and innovation and technology. He emphasized AI and blockchain as industry drivers, highlighted Greater Bay Area ties and one-country/two-systems testing, held bilateral meetings, and encouraged Yidu Tech to consider expanding into Hong Kong.
