Pakistan Hosts Summit Strengthening Digital Journalism Ecosystem
Participants at the 2nd Annual Digital Dialogue summit in Islamabad on Dec. 10 convened journalists, tech experts, academics and civil-society representatives to discuss strengthening Pakistan’s digital information ecosystem and public-interest media. Organised by Freedom Network with support from International Media Support, panels examined financial, policy and governance challenges, the impact of AI on newsrooms, and called for cross-sector collaboration while Ignite highlighted an AI competition aligned to National AI Policy 2025.
