Nifty And Sensex Fall Nearly One Percent

Indian equity benchmarks slid for a fourth straight session on Thursday, with the NSE Nifty falling 263.90 points to 25,876.85 and the BSE Sensex dropping 780.18 points to 84,180.96. Traders cited renewed fears of US tariff hikes on Russian oil, sustained foreign institutional outflows and weakness in metals, oil and gas sectors. Analysts warned breaching support near 25,880 could threaten the prevailing uptrend and urged strict risk management.
