New Media Manitoba hired Les Klassen as senior manager of AI initiatives and services at the end of October, the association said. Prairies Economic Development Canada announced more than $2.3 million in October to expand StudioLab xR and integrate AI training and services. The funding and new role aim to help small- and medium-sized enterprises adopt AI, bring products to market, and grow Manitoba's digital media workforce.
