Minister Sanctions AI Courses At Chokli College

On February 19, 2026, Kerala Higher Education Minister R. Bindu announced steps to sanction new courses at Kodiyeri Balakrishnan Smaraka Government College, Chokli, prioritizing programmes based on artificial intelligence. She inaugurated a newly constructed academic block, women’s hostel and canteen completed at a cost of ₹11.20 crore, featuring nine classrooms, three seminar halls, a 60‑bed hostel and 100‑seat canteen.
