Microsoft announced in a support post that it has integrated its Copilot AI app into Word, Excel, PowerPoint and PDF services, rebranding Microsoft 365 to include embedded AI capabilities. With an estimated 430 million paid Microsoft 365 licenses as of mid-2025, Microsoft now counts those subscribers as AI users and says it does not use prompts or file content to train its models.
