MediaTek Integrates Omni LLM Into Dimensity Phones

At MWC 2026, MediaTek announced it is collaborating with OPPO to integrate the Omni multimodal LLM onto Dimensity 9500-powered phones, including the Find X9 and Find X9 Pro. The on-device model enables multimodal interactions across text, speech, images and video for features like Live Scene Understanding, while OPPO will deliver OPPO AI Translate and AI Portrait Glow via a future ColorOS update.
