Kodi Fails To Load After Firmware Update
A user reports Kodi on an NVIDIA Shield stopped loading after running a maintenance plugin because textures.db must be deleted. Following a recent Shield firmware update, the X‑Plore file manager no longer has access to the Android/obb directory, preventing deletion of textures.db and blocking Kodi from starting. The user cannot open Kodi to remove the file and faces wiping and reinstalling Kodi if access is not restored.
