Kazakhstan Establishes Regional Sustainable Agriculture Center

Kazakhstan and Germany will establish a Regional Center for Sustainable Agriculture at the Kazakh Research Institute of Agriculture and Plant Growing, following discussions at the 18th Global Forum for Food and Agriculture in Berlin. The center, announced by Kazakhstan's Ministry of Agriculture on Jan. 17, will focus on knowledge transfer, capacity building, sustainable practices and pilot activities in the Almaty Region, supporting digital farming and investment.
