India Transforms IT Sector Toward AI-Driven Services

Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said in Bengaluru on 7 February that India's IT sector is transitioning from traditional software services to an AI-driven model, with more than 2,000 Global Capability Centres now in India. He noted the Union Budget includes major data-centre reforms with equal tax treatment for domestic and foreign investors, and over 200 colleges have updated engineering curricula for the AI era.
