India Implements AgriStack To Digitalize Farming

Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said on Friday the government is rolling out AgriStack, a Digital Public Infrastructure, creating Kisan Pehchan Patra digital IDs for farmers; 8.48 crore IDs have been generated across 19 states. The Digital Crop Survey covered 604 districts and 28.5 crore plots for Kharif 2025, and Maharashtra used AgriStack to transfer over Rs 14,000 crore to 89 lakh farmers.
