India and Canada on March 2 signed landmark pacts including a US$2.6 billion Cameco uranium supply deal, MoUs on critical minerals, and terms of reference for a Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney pledged to finalise CEPA this year and aim to boost bilateral trade to over US$50 billion by 2030.
