Hyperscale Operators Triple Datacenter Infrastructure Spending

Synergy Research reports hyperscale datacenter operators nearly tripled infrastructure spending over the past three years, with quarterly capex rising almost 180% to $142 billion in the third quarter of this year. Quarterly capacity additions increased 170%, total operational capacity more than quadrupled as facilities scaled toward GW levels, the hyperscale footprint hit 1,297 sites, and the US holds 55% of capacity.
